1-Use water mixed with vinegar
Add some white vinegar to a bowl filled with water. Then use this mixture to wash your produce. Vinegar has antibacterial properties, which make it perfect for cleaning fruits and veggies.
2-Use soap
If you don’t want to use vinegar for some reason, opt for some regular liquid soap instead. Soap is also capable of killing bacteria and other microorganisms that can make you sick if eaten. As with the previous method, make sure to wash all your fruit and vegetables thoroughly.
3-Prepare a bleach solution
Mix 4 tablespoons of bleach per liter of water. Then, soak your vegetables in the bowl for five minutes before rinsing them with clean water.
This is another effective way to clean produce properly since it kills almost all types of bacteria that grow on their skin. You should remember that chlorine bleach is harmful to our health, so avoid soaking your food in it for too long.
