Steam Away The Fish Skin

Peeling off fish skin is most people’s least favorite portion of cooking prep. All too often it’s quite attached to the fish meat underneath, making it not only a pained effort to pull off, but also causes it to tear leaving bits behind.

Instead of yanking on the skin, place the fish on a flat surface of something you do not care about soaking, boil some water, and pour the scorching liquid over the skin.
