25-Cook fruits and veggies thoroughly
Since cooking can reduce toxins, it’s recommended that you cook your produce before eating it (especially when using organic products).
Baking, boiling, or grilling food will help make its nutrients easier to digest. However, make sure not to overcook fruits and veggies because this might affect their nutritional value.
26-Never soak leafy greens
Since leafy greens are mostly composed of water, it’s important to never soak them. Doing this will only activate the production of harmful enzymes. If you want to clean spinach or kale, simply rinse them using a strainer or salad spinner.
27-Don’t eat the peels
Although eating vegetables with their skin might be healthier than eating peeled fruit, most pesticides and other toxins can still be found on their surface. Ensure to thoroughly wash the produce before eating it if you don’t want to ingest any chemicals.
