Cocoa Mushrooms
Roll up a cookie dough ball, then flatten it only slightly so it retains a shape of an uncooked pastry.
Now get some tasty cocoa powder in a container and an empty glass bottle of root beer or soda to produce what will end up being our mushroom effect.
Invert the bottle and dip it lightly into the cocoa powder. Once it has stuck to the circumference of the bottle’s opening, press the bottle top down into your awaiting cookies dough just enough to imprint a circle around the center.
When you pull the bottle away, you will have left a mushroom top-looking shape with a cocoa-filled round ridge.
