6-Skinwalker Watermelon
Want to have a giant watermelon ball stored inside a watermelon shell, yet not a part of it? Start with two watermelons. Slice the first exactly in half, then slice up the internal contents of each half into squares for easy scooping out. Store these for another use.
Once the two halves are both entirely empty and just the skins remain, set them aside.
With a thin skinning blade, skin all of the external green from the outside of the second watermelon until only the internal portion remains. Next, cut off all the yellowish “sub-skin” portions with a knife. The result should be the now (mostly) crisp, red, “naked” watermelon.
Next, take a sponge, soak it in water, and then carefully but thoroughly wipe the watermelon with the sponge all around until the surface is smooth and rounded.
Time to combine the two parts of the project now. Simply place the clean and shiny watermelon ball inside of the bottom piece of empty skin and cover it with the top. Now you have a big smooth watermelon ball inside of another watermelon’s skin.
