12-Watermelon Juice Pouring Jug
Who said you needed to slice the watermelon and juice it to drink the contents? What if you could consume the watermelon juice from its own shell and make it into a fun pouring jug all at once?
You can start by slicing a square of about 2 inches on each side in the side of the watermelon, then plucking the cut piece out, leaving a square hole. Next, use a whisk drill topper and insert it right into the hole, and let it spin until you are confident the insides have now become liquified.
Another accessory you will need is a small plastic cup. Cut about a third of it off leaving only a partially bent inward oval. Essentially you are looking for a shape that matches a protruding tongue. Once it’s all cut, place right under the square hole in the center of your watermelon with the top side of the cup, and using a marker or a sharpy, sketch a line along the top’s perimeter.
Once you have the line drawn, slice along the line, all the way up to the level of the top of the precut square. Once cut, yank the newly cut pieces out and insert the precut cup into their place. The opening should now look like a mouth with the plastic cup sticking out of it in the form of a tongue.
To complete the effect draw two oval shapes over the mouth to form eyes, and throw on some eyebrows over them. This time, use a knife to trim just those areas of green skin from the watermelon, without getting to the red insides.
In the remaining light-colored crevasses, now draw a set of eyeballs. There is your goofball watermelon face staring at you. So what is this for? Bring a cup over and use the protruding cup as a spout to pour out the watermelon juice inside.
